WORK – ONLINE

I first had my dose of the being ‘online’ way back in 1995…Luckily things have kind’a moved on since then. I’m passionate about the latest and greatest when it comes to the online world, so expect some noise in your direction. It is these technologies that I utilise for the benefit of my customers (and myself). With an MSc in eCommerce achieved over ten years ago (back when everyone would ask “what the heck is ecommerce?” – even prospective employers!) And work experience across many sectors one thing has remained a constant when it comes to the online world: “If you snooze you’ll eventually lose”.

With technology evolving at a rapid pace constant learning is vital – which is fine as I do on average get through a ‘work related’ book per week.

OFFLINE

I’ve worked with companies around the world both for online and offline ventures. Offline I assist companies to enter new markets. Which basically involves idea generation, meetings and more meetings.

My work passions revolve around new ideas and getting these ideas to fruition. Who knows maybe we’ll work on an idea together.

PLAY

I’m getting to the point where play is overlapping Work – a good place to be. Away from work, I’m not so much a movie fan – more film critic. I enjoy the great outdoors but need to get out more. I’ve been meaning to take up rock climbing (its on the todo list… The list I need to write).

My biggest passion in life is my wonderfully wonderful daughter who’s growing up quicker than I could have imagined. All you parents out there you know where I’m coming from.

For quite a while I have reaped the online fountain of knowledge – now I have come full circle and would like to give back in my little way. You’ll get the chance to read some unadulterated lessons in life and business – many of which I wish I had taken. Other blogs may well be rants – but hey everyone loves a rant.
